Lavrov: Kiev's accusations of alleged nuclear terrorism are "nonsense"

For several weeks now, Ukraine has been accumulating unsubstantiated allegations that Moscow is planning a military "attack" on the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. According to the Russian Foreign Minister, this is also a "well-known" trick in the information war.

Ukraine's latest accusation that Russia is planning a "terrorist attack" on Europe's largest nuclear power plant is just another attempt in the information war against Moscow, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

In an exclusive interview with RT on Monday, the diplomat dismissed as "nonsense" accusations recently made by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and other top Ukrainian officials of allegedly planned military strikes by Russia against the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.

"The fact that this hackneyed threat, some kind of hackneyed warning, keeps appearing in the media, primarily from representatives of the Kiev regime, says only one thing: all these people were trained to wage an information war by the Anglo-Saxons, the Poles and even the Balts, among others," Lavrov explained.

"In view of the deplorable and unconvincing results of such training, I am sorry for the money that Western taxpayers spend on paying the teachers who train these completely inept and mentally disturbed students," he added.
