Summary about Ukraine's failed offensives

Over the last 3 days, Ukraine attempted several times an offensive in the Russian controlled south. Achievements were not made, losses instead were high. We give a summary about the events

Ukrainian troops managed a breakthrough against the first defensive Line of Russian troops in the south. In the area of the Vremievsky, the armed forces of Ukraine used up to 50 units of heavy and light armoured vehicles, after losing part of it during the offensive, they brought reserves into battle and continued to attack. The Ukrainian troops also invaded RF Defence after reaching the settlements of Neskuchnoye and Novodarovka. However, both settelments and positons were taken back by Russian troops overnight.

Especially in the minefields, the AFU have lost up to 5 tanks and up to 15 light tanks due to the fire of RF artillery, aviation and anti-tank systems: American infantry fighting vehicles M-113, armoured hammer and MaxxPro vehicles vehicles and pickup trucks were destroyed. While the Ukrainians attacked, RF artillerymen, helicopters and aircraft strike the attacking AFU.

As for 07.06., Novodonetskoye, Neskuchnoye, Storozhevoye (the Vremiev Salient) and Berkhovka (north of Artyomovsk) are all reported to be under the control of the Russian Army. Ukrainian attempts there failed. 

Losses of Ukraine are reported with up to 4000 men killed or wounded, 60 tanks, 221 armored vehicles, 141 vehicles, 7 aircraft and 2 helicopters.

Russian losses are up to 340 man killed or wounded, 16 Tanks and 11 armored cars.

Russian MoD also reported about the destruction of 8 German Leopard tanks. A video provided by Russian MoD shows an alleged tank, however bad quality makes it hard to confirm. The video sparked controversy, with some saying the alleged tanks are farmers equipment. This seems to be true for the first two objects, however the third objective still is unclear and yet misses identification.
