Dead, injured and a destroyed hospital after night shelling of Makeyevka

Powerful explosions occurred in the Donetsk People's Republic last night, presumably using the US HIMARS artillery system.

Particularly affected was the Municipal Hospital No. 2 in Makeyevka, which was significantly damaged as a result of shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Almost all the windows were destroyed, doors flew off their hinges, and the hospital's obstetrics, surgery, oncology and intensive care departments were practically destroyed. It is also reported that a residential area near the medical facility was seriously damaged.
